About
Polina Balanda is a London-based knitwear designer exploring the quiet intelligence of structure.
Trained in Fashion Textiles: Knit at the London College of Fashion, she approaches knitwear as soft architecture shaped by tension, drape, and natural fibres. Rooted between Ukraine and Cyprus, her work carries subtle symbolism and protective motifs through clean, architectural lines. She is currently developing sustainable baby alpaca pieces with Peruvian artisans, combining hand-linking and embroidery with contemporary knit engineering.
